The Horus Heresy occurred over ten thousand Terran years ago, a nearly unimaginable span of time as a result, it has become nothing more than a collection of often distorted or misunderstood legends and mythology to the average Imperial citizen of the Era Indomitus.
While the below chronology is highly detailed, it should be noted that much of this information would be completely unknown to the average inhabitant of the Imperium of Man in the 41st Millennium.
